Purpose: Keep production equipment running safely and reliably in a food manufacturing environment.
Core duties
- Perform preventive maintenance on production, packaging, and utility equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and basic electrical issues.
- Respond quickly to breakdowns to reduce downtime.
- Inspect equipment, document work, and recommend repairs or upgrades.
- Support sanitation and food safety standards during maintenance work.
- Assist with installation, changeovers, and equipment improvements.
What to look for
- 2–5 years of industrial maintenance experience, preferably in food manufacturing.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and basic electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with conveyors, motors, pumps, gearboxes, pneumatics, or packaging lines.
- Ability to read manuals, schematics, and work orders.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced production setting.
- Reliable attendance and willingness to work shifts, overtime, or weekends.
Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
