Yard Sign Runner – 1099 Contractor
Capital Curb Appeal is looking for a reliable, self-motivated Yard Sign Runner to place advertising signs throughout the Lincoln area.
This is a flexible 1099 independent contractor position that is ideal for someone looking to earn extra income while setting their own schedule.
Compensation
- $2.00 per yard sign placed
- Minimum of 100 signs per week
- Minimum weekly sign pay: $200
- $50 weekly gas reimbursement
- Total minimum weekly compensation: $250
- Paid weekly by check when you pick new signs up
- As an independent contractor, you are responsible for your own taxes. Depending on your individual tax situation, business mileage and other qualifying expenses may be deductible.
What You'll Do
- Pick up 100 yard signs every Monday
- Place signs throughout designated areas of Lincoln, Nebraska
- Follow the provided sign placement maps, territories, and instructions
- Ensure signs are placed neatly, securely, and in approved locations
- Take photo proof of every sign after placement
- Submit documentation showing all 100 signs have been placed
Set Your Own Schedule
You choose when you complete the work.
Signs will be available for pickup Monday evening, and you can decide what days and times work best for you throughout the week. There is no required daily schedule as long as the assigned signs are completed within the required timeframe.
This position is great for someone who wants to work independently and build the job around their existing schedule.
Photo Documentation Required
Every sign must be documented with a photo.
You will be required to take a clear photo of each sign after it has been placed and submit the photos to a dropBox as proof of completion.
Accurate documentation is a critical part of this position.

Independent Contractor Position
This is a 1099 independent contractor position, not an W-2 employee position. You will have the flexibility to determine your own schedule and are responsible for managing your own tax obligations, vehicle, and work-related expenses.

We're looking for someone who shows up on time, is dependable, communicates well, and pays attention to details.
You don't need previous yard-sign experience. If you're organized, dependable, comfortable driving around Lincoln, and want a flexible way to earn additional income, we'd like to hear from you.
Minimum commitment: 100 signs per week ($250 total including gas reimbursement).
