COMMISSIONED SECURITY OFFICER
April Sound Property Owners Association is seeking a part-time commissioned officer for our security services department. The ideal candidate will be professional, hard-working, and have the ability to work well with others, be able to demonstrate a strong desire to learn and grow in the security industry and will be flexible with their work hours.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manages secure gate entrance to residential community.
- Secures premises by patrolling in vehicle or on foot as needed.
- Respond to various emergency incidents.
- Utilize access control and CCTV equipment.
- Prepares logs and reports.
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrate strong written, verbal and telephone communication skills.
REQUIRMENTS:
- U.S. Citizen
- 25 years of age.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Fluently speak, read, comprehend, and compose coherent written reports in English.
- Driving record free of violations
- Pass a comprehensive background investigation and drug test.
- Ability to meet and maintain any applicable, state, county and municipal licensing requirements.
- Must be able to work on weekends and evenings as needed during peak times of business.
PREFERRED:
- Level III armed
- 2 Years experience
