Job Summary- Personal Assistant – Dog Grooming Business
I’m looking for a dependable, organized, and friendly Personal Assistant to help me run multiple busy dog grooming businesses smoothly. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys helping others, staying organized, and being part of positive, fast-paced environments.

- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license, as driving to appointments and assisting with errands is an important part of the role.

- Someone who can multitask effectively and stay organized while handling a variety of daily responsibilities.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and adapt when plans change.
- A friendly, professional personality with excellent people skills. You should enjoy interacting with clients, work well with others, and help create a welcoming stress-free environment.
Responsibilities Include:
- Assisting professional dog groomers with bathing, brushing, and transferring of dogs according to breed standards and client preferences
- Handle animals safely and compassionately during grooming sessions, ensuring proper restraint and comfort
- Support with animal handling tasks such as loading pets into grooming stations and managing anxious or difficult animals with patience
- Maintain cleanliness of grooming tools, workstations, and bathing areas to uphold hygiene standards
- Driving to appointments and running business-related errands.
- Managing schedules, appointments, and daily tasks.
- Assisting with administrative duties and client communication.
- Helping keep the business organized and operating efficiently.
- Providing general support wherever needed to help the day run smoothly.
- Help with pet care routines including feeding, walking, and basic veterinary support tasks if needed
Willing to TRAIN right candidate
(NOT REQUIRED) but beneficial for a higher pay rate:
- Strong dog training and handling skills to manage pets of various temperaments confidently
- Experience in veterinary settings or as a veterinary technician/assistant is highly desirable (knowledge & understanding of animal health needs)
- Knowledge of pet grooming techniques and animal restraint methods to ensure safety during procedures
- Familiarity with animal care practices including pet sitting, kennel management, and heavy lifting (up to 50lbs) for transporting animals or equipment
