Job Overview
The Client Services Manager oversees and coordinates the client support programs at Lakes Life Care Center. This role manages volunteers, client education programs, referrals, and material support services while helping ensure clients receive compassionate, organized, and high-quality care. The Client Services Manager also serves as a client advocate and instructor as needed.
Primary Responsibilities
Client Services
- Introduce new clients to available programs and services
- Maintain and regularly review client files and charts
- Ensure proper security, confidentiality, and retention of client records
- Manage scheduling for client programs and appointments
- Provide client advocacy, support, and instruction as needed
Volunteer Management
- Conduct tours and interviews for prospective volunteers
- Assist the Executive Director with volunteer background checks
- Coordinate volunteer schedules and assignments
- Onboard and train new volunteers
- Provide ongoing support and training for teaching volunteers
- Recruit volunteers as needed
- Maintain accurate volunteer records in compliance with organizational policies
- Keep volunteer databases current and organized
- Coordinate room usage and scheduling for client appointments and classes
Community Referrals
- Oversee client referral processes
- Maintain and update referral information in HopeSync and other referral resources
Earn While You Learn Program
- Oversee all aspects of the Earn While You Learn education program
- Support, train, and regularly communicate with program volunteers
- Ensure program consistency and effectiveness
Boutique & Material Support
- Work with the Boutique Manager to monitor inventory and client needs
- Maintain client points for boutique shopping
- Coordinate emergency material assistance for clients as needed
- Assist with organization and management of donated items and supplies

Professional Qualifications
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn client database systems
- Previous nonprofit experience preferred
- Previous pregnancy center experience preferred
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
Personal & Relational Skills
- Ability to empathize with individuals in difficult situations while providing practical support
- Strong listening skills and ability to maintain healthy boundaries
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Willingness to accept responsibility and seek guidance when needed
Training Provided
will provide initial and ongoing training, including:
- Organizational orientation and on-the-job training
- Training related to client services, educational programs, and volunteer management
- Instruction on Lakes Life Care Center policies, procedures, and medical services
- Resources and materials needed to provide accurate information and effective client support
Pay: From $22.00 per hour
