Description
Immediate opening for a Full-time Surgical Scrub Technician in a professional team oriented working environment for a Single specialty.
Responsibilities:
- Perform specific duties required for ophthalmology surgical procedures.
- Assemble, inspect and arrange all supplies and equipment for each procedure and arrange according to physicians' preference.
- Adhere to and monitor all sterile techniques.
- Accurately document required information relating to procedures according to policies and guidelines.
Requirements:
- Proven training and competency in a surgical environment
- ASC preferred
- Prior ophthalmic experience a plus
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills
- Strict attention to detail and documentation, ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift/stretch/bend in providing patient care
- Proven ability to work well in a team oriented environment
- Adherence to HIPAA requirements and company confidentiality and privacy policies.
Required Experience:
- Surgical Technician/Ambulatory Surgery, 1 year.
