Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and versatile Pastor to lead and nurture our faith community. In this vital role, you will provide spiritual guidance, facilitate worship services, and foster a welcoming environment that encourages spiritual growth and community engagement. Duties
- Deliver engaging sermons and lead worship services that resonate with diverse congregations.
- Provide pastoral care, counseling, and support to individuals and families facing life challenges or spiritual questions.
- Organize and oversee community outreach programs, prayer groups, youth activities, and special events.
- Supervise church staff, volunteers, and ministry teams to ensure smooth operation of church activities.
- Maintain a vibrant presence within the community by participating in local events and fostering relationships with community organizations.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards during all church activities and manage facility maintenance as needed.
- Provide guidance on theological matters, religious education programs, and spiritual development initiatives.
Skills
- Proven supervising experience in a religious or community organization setting.
- Strong animal care knowledge is a plus for churches involved with farm animals or pet ministries.
- Mechanical knowledge related to equipment repair, welding, or maintenance of church facilities is advantageous.
- Experience with farming, agriculture, horticulture, or outdoor work enhances ability to manage church grounds or farm ministries.
- Familiarity with heavy equipment operation such as forklifts or farm machinery supports facility management needs.
- Knowledge of animal husbandry practices for churches involved in animal rescue or farm-based ministries.
- Skilled in manual handling, heavy lifting, and the use of hand tools and power tools safely.
- Basic math skills useful for budgeting or inventory management within church operations.
- Experience with irrigation systems, greenhouse management, or horticulture projects is beneficial for maintaining church gardens or farms.
- Strong commitment to safety standards in production environments ensures safe handling of equipment and materials during maintenance tasks.
- Ability to perform equipment repair and maintenance related to MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Operations).
- Outdoor work experience supports the upkeep of church grounds and outdoor ministry activities.
- Excellent animal handling skills for ministries involving animals or pet care programs.
