The Judicial Council of California is accepting applications for the position of Senior Project Manager for the Facilities Services office. As a government body charged with improving the statewide administration of justice, the Judicial Council has multiple offices with diverse responsibilities relating to court policy and operations. As employees of the council, every member of staff should view and approach their work as one Judicial Council with a public service mission that is greater than the sum of its parts.
The Senior Project Manager will manage multiple major capital projects of the largest size and complexity and related complex assignments. The Senior Project Manager will have extensive education, training, background in planning, design and construction of building projects. This classification is the highest level project manager with no supervisory responsibilities. The candidate will be responsible for retaining and directing professional consultants and contractors, and for directly managing and facilitating interactions among diverse, multiple internal and external team members. The Senior Project Manager is skilled in all technical and managerial aspects of planning, managing design, and delivering construction of major capital building projects.

The Judicial Council offers hybrid work arrangements for many positions. The successful candidate will be expected to work in person at the Judicial Council’s San Francisco, Sacramento, or Southern California office at least two days per week, based on their office leader's direction, and reside in the areas surrounding these locations.
