The Sales Support Specialist is responsible for providing support and collaborative problem solving to the sales teams, as well as advanced resolutions to customer facing communications. The Sales Administrator is a key role in assisting multiple internal teams to provide efficiency, as well as maintaining strong relationships with external customers and/or vendors.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or three-five years’ experience in inside sales or high-level customer service
- Two years prior experience in direct communication with customer and/or clients
- Strong administrative skills with the ability to multi-task, manage priorities and deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and able to assist with high quality outcomes
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel computer software programs
- Knowledge of the telecommunications industry preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively (written and oral)
- Ability to prioritize workload while remaining organized
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Essential Position Functions
- Responsible for tracking and monitoring unclosed sales quotes and communicating with customer(s) in order to follow up on any pending items or questions
- Responsible for assisting in processing orders from sales teams purchase orders as needed
- Responsible for assisting the sales personnel with travel arrangements and/or monitoring activity while they are traveling to ensure sales process or escalations are not interrupted
- Responsible for monitoring, tracking and updating any orders that have been placed with procurement team to ensure all tickets, statuses and communications to customers are accurate and timely
- Assist sales teams in entering quotes in quote management software and sending quotes to customers as needed
- Follow up with customers after quote has been sent to ensure receipt and address any questions/concerns they may have
- Partner with marketing team in order to create, produce and purchase any marketing materials needed to send to customers and/or bring to business conferences
- Partner with marketing team on any lead generation projects and assisting sales team to execute
- Assist the accounting team and sales team to address any and all invoice inquiries from customers
- Partner with partner sales team to communicate effectively any invoice resolutions
- Responsible for making any invoice adjustments and/or consolidations and communicating effectively the changes to both internal and external teams
- Responsible for proactively managing the Pricing Agreements with Vendors by tracking and monitoring the expiration date and pricing adjustments/ renegotiations due to changes in quantity
- Responsible for assisting with inventory management by proactively monitoring inventory levels as it relates to sales orders and current on hand amounts
- Responsible for ensuring proper order amounts are being placed cost efficiently as it relates to stock levels
- Responsible for assisting project management and warehouse teams with multi location customer rollouts and ensuring that all tickets associated with rollouts are accurately and processed in a timely manner
