Junior Locksmith Duties

Consult with Senior Locksmith to coordinate the best solution for lock repairs.

Classified and filed records to keep the system efficient, and all information organized.

Reviewed lock specifications to understand each operation and implement the correct adjustments, minimizing future errors and avoiding wasted materials.

Research correct order numbers for keys/equipment needed for daily tasks.

Delivered administrative lock tech support each day, including data updates to profiles.

Troubleshot and diagnosed problems with safes, electronic locks, and mechanical locks, independently/partnering to resolve routine issues and organizing more advanced repairs.

Organized tools and checked the shop's equipment to maintain a neat and safe work area.

Occasionally transporting boxes, containers and equipment with the use of a hand cart.

Some knowledge or experience with X0 , Unicans, Kaba Mas Kpelx 5700/5800 type locks.
Qualifications

High School Diploma

Locksmith Certification (preferred)

Ability to obtain and maintain a secret clearance (not required prior to hire)

Minimum of 1 year of experience

Must have excellent customer service skills

Must have good verbal and written communication skills (English)
