UNCOMN is seeking a Financial Analyst to:
- Establish and maintain monthly financial forecast.
- Collect, organize, and validate financial and operational data from multiple sources.
- Perform basic variance analysis to identify differences between actual results, budgets, and forecasts.
- Assist with preparing and analyzing various financial reports and metrics.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting processes.
- Assist with rolling up financial data into the annual company forecast.
- Follow established accounting policies and procedures, and internal controls.
- Perform ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as requested by management.
- Continuously improve reporting processes and identify opportunities to automate or streamline financial analysis.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in accounting, business, economics, engineering, finance or a related field.
- 1+ year of related professional experience.
- Must be eligible to obtain a Secret clearance, granted by the US Government, which requires US citizenship. The government also uses 13 adjudicative guidelines to determine an individual's eligibility.
- **This position is primarily remote; however, candidates must be comfortable coming into the office on an as-needed basis, approximately once per month.
Preferred
- General Understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS).
- Extensive experience using MS Office, specifically Excel.
- Prior experience using ERP systems.
- Prior experience using Power BI reporting or other data analytics software
- Experience with UNANET and/or US Government pricing/contracts.
