We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for those you care for, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.

Duties
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting to promote independence and dignity
- Monitor residents’ vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to ensure health stability
- Administer medications accurately following prescribed protocols and document all care activities using electronic medical record (EMR) systems
- Support residents during meal preparation and feeding to encourage proper nutrition and hydration
- Implement behavior management techniques tailored to individual needs, especially for those with dementia or developmental disabilities
- Operate manual handling equipment safely, including Hoyer lifts and resident transfer devices, adhering to safe patient lifting practices
- Engage residents in social activities and therapeutic programs to enhance cognitive function and emotional well-being
- Maintain a clean, safe environment by performing light housekeeping duties such as cleaning resident areas and ensuring infection control standards are met
- Drive residents when necessary for appointments or outings using standard passenger cars while following safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with residents’ families and healthcare teams to coordinate care plans and updates
Skills
- Proven experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or residential care settings with a focus on memory care or geriatrics
- Strong knowledge of Alzheimer’s care, dementia management, and behavioral support strategies
- Ability to assist with ADLs and provide personal care with compassion and professionalism
- Familiarity with EMR systems for documentation of resident information and care activities
- Knowledge of first aid, CPR certification, safe patient lifting practices, and medication administration procedures
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with residents, families, and team members effectively
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or developmental challenges is highly desirable
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary while maintaining safety standards
- Valid driver’s license for driving residents safely when required
- Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment
