Position Overview
We are looking for a Local Outreach & Sales Support Coordinator to strengthen our local market presence and directly support our Sales, Business Development, and Marketing teams.
This is a dynamic, field-oriented position focused on lead generation, lead verification, site visits, customer outreach, relationship building, market research, and sales support. The ideal candidate will be proactive, outgoing, organized, and comfortable building relationships in the local business community.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and research potential customers, including restaurants, hotels, foodservice operators, contractors, architects, designers, developers, and commercial businesses.
- Generate, verify, and qualify new sales leads by gathering information about the company, decision-makers, projects, equipment needs, budgets, and purchasing timelines.
- Conduct site visits to existing customers, prospects, restaurants, construction projects, and commercial locations to gather information and identify business opportunities.
- Provide qualified leads, project information, customer insights, and recommendations to Sales Representatives for follow-up and conversion.
- Assist Sales Representatives with prospect research, appointment setting, customer outreach, follow-ups, and preparation for customer meetings.
- Identify new construction, restaurant openings, renovations, expansions, remodels, and replacement equipment opportunities in the local market.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with restaurant owners, operators, contractors, architects, designers, developers, manufacturer representatives, and other industry professionals.
- Act as a local representative of the company, increasing brand awareness and developing relationships within the local business community.
- Visit local businesses and prospects to introduce the company, understand their needs, and identify potential opportunities.
- Participate in local networking events, industry conferences, trade shows, association meetings, seminars, and other business development activities.
- Develop and support local marketing initiatives, promotional campaigns, community activities, and brand-building opportunities.
- Coordinate and support product demonstrations, seminars, open houses, customer appreciation events, and other promotional activities.
- Work closely with the Marketing team to identify local content, customer stories, projects, events, and opportunities that can support digital and traditional marketing.
- Conduct local market research and monitor competitors, customer activity, industry trends, and emerging opportunities.
- Develop relationships with manufacturer representatives and identify opportunities for joint sales, promotions, product demonstrations, and local initiatives.
- Follow up with prospects generated through marketing campaigns, events, referrals, networking, and local outreach.
- Help ensure qualified leads are properly communicated to the appropriate Sales Representative and followed through the sales process.
- Gather customer and market feedback and communicate insights to Sales, Marketing, Business Development, and management.
- Prepare reports, presentations, prospect lists, market research, and other materials to support sales and business development activities.
- Track and report on local outreach activities, including leads generated, site visits, appointments, opportunities identified, and sales activities supported.
- Assist management with special projects, strategic initiatives, and other business development activities as assigned.

- Sales-minded and results-oriented, with the ability to identify opportunities, qualify leads, and support the sales team in developing new business.
- Comfortable with face-to-face outreach, cold calling, networking, site visits, presentations, and customer meetings.
- Strong research, organization, and follow-up skills, with the ability to manage multiple leads, projects, and priorities.
- Ability to work independently in the field while collaborating effectively with Sales, Marketing, and Business Development teams.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to accurately gather, evaluate, and communicate customer and project information.
- Self-motivated and comfortable taking initiative, with a genuine interest in local business development and community engagement.
- Willingness to travel locally for customer visits, networking events, site visits, and other business development activities.
- Previous experience in sales, business development, marketing, customer service, hospitality, construction, architecture/design, or foodservice is a plus.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace is a plus.
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required for regular local travel.
