EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
This position supports provides police services and protection to employees, the public, and property at Fort Indiantown Gap installation by performing a wide range of police duties. As an Installation Police Officer, DMVA, you will perform the following duties:

Patrol Duties: Patrol buildings and grounds on foot and by vehicle to maintain safety

Law Enforcement: Enforce federal, state, and local laws through warning, citation, or arrest

Emergency Response: Respond to calls for assistance and determine the nature of reported emergencies

Investigations: Investigate accidents, criminal activity, unusual incidents, and alarms and document findings

Reporting Tasks: Prepare police reports, maintain activity logs, and document probable cause for warrants

Equipment Operation: Operate patrol vehicles, communications equipment, and other law enforcement tools

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment, 40 hours per week

Work hours are rotating shifts (6:00 AM to 6:00 PM) and (6:00 PM to 6:00 AM). You will have rotating days off.
