Cincinnati Country Day School is seeking a head varsity football coach. The next head varsity football coach at CCDS will be expected to be a role model for the students and be able to build upon the strong tradition of CCDS football. Our varsity football coach will be expected to lead the program with character, class, and integrity and to develop a football program that is consistent with the high standards of the Cincinnati Country Day community.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the director of athletics to manage all aspects of the football program
- Clearly communicate with players and families about expectations for being a member of the football team
- Lead a coaching staff that develops a positive culture that allows football players to develop and enjoy the game of football
- Plan practices to improve individual and team performance
- Collaborate with the athletic department to build a cohesive football program, from Middle School through Upper School
- Attend all practices and games
Qualifications
- All coaches must possess a Pupil Activity Permit (PAP) through the Ohio Department of Education. CCDS will reimburse costs of obtaining certificates and completing classes.
- PAP Requirements:
- Complete Coaches Tool Chest
- Background/fingerprint check (every five years after hire and any time requested by CCDS)
- Previous varsity football coaching experience preferred but not required.
