Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Mysport Afterschool Coach to inspire and guide children in our afterschool sports and activity programs. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to work with young learners, promote healthy activity, and create a positive, engaging environment that encourages growth and teamwork. Afterschool Coach & Driver – Starting at $15.00/Hour
We are looking for a dependable, energetic, and caring Afterschool Coach & Driver to join our team. This role combines safely transporting children from school with supervising and engaging them in our afterschool program.
Pay:
- Starting at $15.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday–Friday
- Afterschool hours (approximately 2:00 PM–6:30 PM)
Responsibilities:
- Safely transport children from local schools to our afterschool program.
- Supervise children during afterschool activities.
- Assist with homework and academic support.
- Lead games, crafts, and recreational activities.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children.
- Maintain a positive, fun, and structured environment.
- Communicate professionally with parents and staff.
Qualifications:
- Must be 25 years of age or older.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Experience working with children is preferred.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.
- Must be able to pass a background check.

Qualifications
- Experience in classroom management, coaching, or working with children in educational or recreational settings
- Knowledge of first aid procedures, CPR certification, AED operation, and first aid protocols
- Background in special education, early childhood education, or youth programs teaching experience preferred
- Demonstrated ability to engage children through teaching, tutoring, or camp experience
- Strong understanding of childhood development principles and behavior management strategies
- Previous childcare, daycare, sports coaching or theater experience is a plus
- Excellent communication skills with a positive attitude and energetic approach
