American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Pediatric Psychiatric unit, requiring at least 2 years of behavioral health experience and an active NC or compact RN license.

Position is located in a large, award-winning hospital in Asheville, NC

Assignment is in the Pediatric Psychiatry unit

Day shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM

13-week contract

Active NC or compact RN license required

Minimum 2 years of recent experience in behavioral health required

Current BLS certification required (AHA or ARC accepted)

CPI certification required; SAMA, MAB, or ACPMA may be accepted in lieu of CPI based on facility requirements

Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start date

US SSN and date of birth required for consideration — no Canadian SSNs accepted

One professional reference required (two required for candidates from Florida or Missouri)

No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible
