- Assist in menu planning by suggesting new grilled dishes or improvements based on customer feedback
- Handle food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients efficiently
- Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure optimal flavor, texture, and safety
- Support the overall food service operation by assisting with plating, serving, and maintaining inventory levels
Requirements
- Proven experience as a grill cook or in a similar kitchen role within the food industry
- Strong knowledge of food handling, safety procedures, and sanitation standards
- Experience with menu planning and culinary techniques specific to grilling or fine dining environments
- Excellent knife skills and proficiency in food preparation methods
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Prior dietary department or dietary aide experience is a plus but not required
- Knowledge of catering, restaurant operations, or food service environments is highly desirable
