JOB SUMMARY:
We are growing! We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Outside Account Executive! We offer a competitive compensation package of $60,000–$70,000K through a combination of base salary and commission, plus additional uncapped commission, bonus potential, car allowance/mileage, and a great benefits package. The sky is the limit! You will be responsible for managing an established territory, acquiring new customers, and driving activities leading to specific sales quota attainment. This is a remote/home-based opportunity requiring extensive travel throughout the assigned territory, including customer visits, tradeshows, product demonstrations, and training seminars (daily travel and some overnight stays required). The territory covers Washington / Oregon so candidates who reside in the Portland area are ideal.
REQUIRED / DESIRED SKILLS AND EDUCATION:
- High school diploma or the equivalent required. Two- or four-year college degree is preferred.
- Five years’ previous territory sales experience required.
- Experience in the nutraceutical/wellness industry is a huge plus.
- We will require proof of current driver’s license and personal automobile insurance coverage.
- Comfortable with extensive driving from store to store throughout the assigned territory.
- Proficient with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Familiar with CRM tools like Salesforce, Zoho, etc.
- Able to work alone and as part of a team.

· Ability to multitask, work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and manage time accordingly to meet deadlines and requirements of the organization.

DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage and grow accounts in assigned territory to deliver sales revenue quota.
- Call on approximately 25 accounts per week, according to agreed-upon call cycle approved by Regional Director.
- Consistently utilize Tableau to understand and develop plans for each customer.
- Create and share monthly sales plan for assigned accounts with Regional Director.
- Provide customers with product and promotional information, sell current and new products into accounts, gain display placement (off-shelf and cardboard shippers), and meet goals for promotional and new product sales.
- Gain new distribution for the company’s product line in accounts, especially with “core items.”
- Conduct store associate training both in-store (aisle, back room, etc.) and out of-store (breakfast, dinner, etc.), consumer-facing educational seminars, and demos to meet goals.
- Interact and follow up with leads, prospects, and current customers.
- Acquire new accounts and business via cold calling prospects and leads, both self-generated and those provided by the company.
- Handle and resolve customer complaints, special orders, and returns.
- Assist internal sales department with account follow-ups and issues.
- Must comply with all company policies, procedures, safety rules, and regulations.
- Demonstrate personal integrity and stewardship of company assets and reputation with respect to all interactions and communications with customers, consumers, and competitors.
- Maintain regular communication with company management via voice, text, and/or email.
- Be a good steward of the company’s resources and send in expenses on a regular, as-accrued basis.
- Adherence to sales policy manual.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, safety rules and regulations.
- Participate in Performance Improvement and safety initiatives, including job-related and annual training(s), i.e., cGMP, SQF.

The position has no supervisory responsibilities.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:

POSITION TYPE AND EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK:
- Full-time 40-hour work week with the ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
