Associate Talent Acquisition Business Partner – University Relations & Recruiting

Overview:
We are seeking an Associate Talent Acquisition Business Partner (TABP) to support University Relations & Recruiting within a dynamic Aeronautics organization. This role will help build early-career talent pipelines, develop university partnerships, support hiring managers, and deliver a strong candidate experience for interns and entry-level professionals.
The ideal candidate is an organized, relationship-focused recruiter who enjoys working with universities, students, hiring managers, and internal stakeholders. This position is based in Oklahoma City, OK and may require up to 25% travel, particularly during peak campus recruiting seasons.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain relationships with universities, faculty, career services teams, and student organizations.
- Develop and execute campus recruiting strategies focused on engineering, technical disciplines, and emerging technologies.
- Manage full-cycle recruiting for internships and early-career positions, from sourcing through offer acceptance.
- Screen, assess, and present qualified candidates to hiring managers.
- Partner with hiring managers to define candidate requirements and selection strategies.
- Maintain ongoing engagement with candidates throughout academic recruiting cycles.
- Plan and participate in campus events, career fairs, networking sessions, and student engagement activities.
- Promote company culture, values, and mission to prospective candidates.
- Deliver a professional and positive candidate experience through timely communication and clear processes.
- Use recruiting data and metrics to evaluate and improve university recruiting strategies.
- Maintain accurate candidate and recruiting activity within the applicant tracking system.
Qualifications & Skills Required:
- High School Diploma/GED and 4 years of experience in Talent Acquisition Recruiting or University Relations; OR Bachelor's Degree and 0 years of experience in Talent Acquisition Recruiting or University Relations.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively with candidates, university partners, hiring managers, and leadership.
- Ability to obtain a U.S. government clearance.
- Willingness to travel up to 25%.
- Must be located in Oklahoma City, OK, or within a reasonable commuting distance.
Preferred:
- Experience managing full-cycle recruiting through offer acceptance.
- Experience with Workday and Eightfold.
- Previous corporate Talent Acquisition experience.
- Experience recruiting for internships, university programs, or early-career positions.
- Experience partnering with hiring managers and university stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to use recruiting data to drive decisions.
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
