Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Store Manager to lead our new Adam & Eve retail location in Conway. This pivotal role involves overseeing daily store operations, driving sales, managing a talented team, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience. Duties
- Lead all aspects of store operations, including sales management, inventory control, and customer service excellence.
- Recruit, interview, train, and develop team members to ensure high performance and professional growth.
- Manage employee schedules, payroll, and administrative tasks with precision and efficiency.
- Oversee merchandising strategies, product placement, pricing accuracy, and stock replenishment to maximize sales.
- Implement marketing initiatives and promotional campaigns to attract new customers and retain existing ones.
- Maintain strict inventory management practices to prevent shrinkage and ensure stock accuracy.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns with professionalism and a positive attitude.
- Utilize POS systems for transactions, cash handling, and sales reporting while ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, provide feedback, and foster a motivated work environment.
- Monitor store performance metrics and develop action plans for continuous improvement in sales and customer satisfaction.
Skills
- Proven management experience in retail or similar customer-focused environments with supervising responsibilities.
- Strong negotiation skills to optimize purchasing agreements and vendor relationships.
- Excellent communication skills in multiple languages; bilingual abilities are highly valued.
- Demonstrated expertise in recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and training staff effectively.
- Proficiency in payroll processing, bookkeeping, inventory management software, POS systems, and retail math.
- Skilled in merchandising, pricing strategies, stock control, and visual presentation techniques.
- Leadership qualities such as motivation-building, conflict resolution, time management, and organizational skills.
- Experience with marketing initiatives including promotional planning and social media engagement.
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining high standards of cashiering etiquette.
- Strong customer service orientation with phone etiquette skills for engaging clients professionally.
