Alloy Personal Training is a small-group personal training studio focused on helping adults get stronger, move better, and live healthier lives.
Our training sessions are limited to 6 clients per coach, allowing our trainers to provide individualized coaching, exercise modifications, and personal attention while still creating the energy and community of a small group.
We're looking for a Part-Time Personal Trainer who enjoys coaching people, building relationships, and creating a positive training experience. Our primary need is weekday morning coverage from approximately 5:30 AM–9:00 AM, with the potential for additional hours as the studio grows.
Pay: $19–$23/hour, depending on experience.
Responsibilities
- Coach Alloy small-group personal training sessions with up to 6 clients
- Provide clear instruction, exercise demonstrations, cues, and feedback
- Modify exercises appropriately based on client ability, limitations, and goals
- Engage with clients and provide individualized attention throughout each session
- Create a welcoming, motivating, and professional training environment
- Build strong relationships with clients and support their continued success
- Review daily workouts, client notes, restrictions, and modifications before sessions
- Set up and organize equipment prior to training sessions
- Accurately record workouts and relevant client notes in the Alloy app
- Check clients in and out using Mindbody
- Follow up with no-show clients as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional training floor
- Attend scheduled staff meetings and trainings
Qualifications
- Personal training certification from a nationally recognized organization preferred
- Previous personal training, strength coaching, or related fitness experience preferred
- CPR/AED/First Aid certification required or willingness to obtain prior to coaching clients
- Ability to confidently coach adults of different ages and fitness levels
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Dependable, punctual, and professional
- Ability to reliably work early-morning shifts beginning at 5:30 AM
- Team-oriented and comfortable following an established training system
- Passion for strength training, fitness, and helping people succeed
Alloy certification is required and will be provided upon hire.
We're looking for coaches who can connect with people—not just count reps. The right trainer will coach confidently, communicate clearly, pay attention to individual clients, and help create an environment where people enjoy showing up and working hard.
As our studio grows, opportunities for additional hours and increased responsibility may become available based on performance and business needs.
Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
