Position Summary
The Caregiver provides non-medical home care services that assist clients with daily living activities while promoting dignity, independence, and emotional well-being. Caregivers work closely with clients, families, and the Anchor Down Home Care team to ensure exceptional care and companionship.
Responsibilities
Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including:
- Bathing
- Dressing
- Grooming
- Toileting
- Mobility assistance
- Transfers
Provide companionship and emotional support.
Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding when needed.
Perform light housekeeping duties, including:
- Laundry
- Vacuuming
- Dusting
- Dishwashing
- Changing bed linens
- Assist with medication reminders (non-medical).
- Provide transportation to appointments, errands, grocery shopping, and social activities.
- Monitor and report changes in a client's physical or emotional condition.
- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and family members.
- Follow individualized care plans and company policies.
- Maintain client confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous caregiving, home care, assisted living, or nursing home experience preferred but not required.
- CNA certification is a plus but not required.
- Current driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Current auto insurance.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
