Position Summary
The Inside Sales & Business Development Representative is responsible for supporting sales growth, strengthening customer relationships, and enhancing the GREE-US brand throughout the assigned market. This role serves as a key point of contact for contractors, distributors, dealers, builders, and walk-in customers while supporting the sales and distribution team.
The position combines customer service, inside sales, business development, contractor engagement, account management, training support, and showroom/distribution center operations. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, organized, proactive, and committed to learning GREE products, technologies, and applications.
Essential Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Support sales growth initiatives within the assigned region.
- Develop and maintain relationships with contractors, distributors, builders, and dealers.
- Identify and qualify new business opportunities.
- Conduct outbound calls and follow-up activities to support sales objectives.
- Assist the Director of Sales & Distribution with pipeline development and account growth.
Customer Service & Sales Support
- Provide product information, pricing assistance, availability, and order support.
- Assist customers with product selection and application guidance.
- Process customer inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Coordinate with internal teams to resolve customer issues efficiently.
- Ensure a positive customer experience that reflects GREE-US values.
Product Knowledge & Technical Support Coordination
- Develop comprehensive knowledge of GREE residential, light commercial, and VRF products.
- Stay informed on product updates, features, warranties, and competitive advantages.
- Assist customers with basic product and application questions.
- Coordinate with the Technical Support Manager on escalated technical inquiries.
- Support troubleshooting efforts by gathering customer information prior to technical escalation.
- Participate in ongoing product and sales training.
Training & Classroom Support
- Assist with classroom training, dealer education, and contractor certification programs.
- Promote training participation to contractors and distribution partners.
Account Management
- Maintain regular communication with assigned accounts.
- Track customer activity, opportunities, and follow-up actions within CRM systems.
- Assist customers with onboarding and account setup.
- Coordinate with sales management to develop account growth strategies.
- Monitor customer satisfaction and support account retention efforts.
- Support collection of customer feedback and market intelligence.
Distributor & Contractor Engagement
- Strengthen relationships with distribution partners.
- Support dealer recruitment and contractor development initiatives.
- Conduct regular outreach to contractors and distributors.
- Assist in organizing customer events, open houses, counter days, and promotional activities.
- Increase awareness and market penetration of the GREE brand.
Administrative Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate customer records and CRM documentation.
- Track sales activities, opportunities, and follow-up requirements.
- Prepare reports as requested by management.
- Support inventory awareness and showroom display maintenance.
- Assist with customer quotations and order processing.
Required Qualifications
Education
- Associate's Degree preferred.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or related field preferred.
Experience
- 2+ years of inside sales, outside sales, customer service in an HVAC industry.
- 2+ Experience working with contractors, distributors, or wholesale channels.
Pay: $24.00 per hour
