How you’ll contribute
A Urology Clinic RN who excels in this role:
Performs patient assessments, triages phone calls and patient concerns, and collaborates with providers to coordinate timely care and follow-up.
Assists with in-office procedures (Cystoscopies, Prostate Biopsies, Vasectomies, Catheter insertion, Void Trials, Bladder Cancer treatment instillations, etc), prepares patients for examinations and treatments, and monitors patients for appropriate outcomes.
Reviews laboratory and diagnostic results, communicates findings and provider recommendations, and ensures appropriate documentation in the medical record.
Coordinates referrals, prior authorizations, prescription refills, and care transitions to support continuity of care.
Educates patients and families regarding diagnoses, medications, treatment plans, and post-procedure care instructions.

What we’re looking for
Applicants should have a current Arizona or Compact State RN license with Arizona endorsement and possess an Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:
Education: Bachelor of Science (BSN) preferred
Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 30 days of hire
Experience: Minimum of 1 year of clinic or urology experience preferred; proficient in catheter skills required
Ability to learn: Bladder instillations with chemotherapy medication
