IShine Behavioral Health is a growing outpatient mental health practice dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care. We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and motivated individual to join our team as a Medical Receptionist / TMS Technician. No prior TMS experience is required—we provide comprehensive paid training.
Responsibilities
Front Desk & Administrative Duties
- Welcome and check in patients with professionalism and compassion.
- Answer incoming phone calls and respond to patient inquiries.
- Schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments.
- Verify insurance information and obtain authorizations when needed.
- Maintain accurate patient records in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
- Process payments and maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
- Coordinate with providers and staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
TMS Technician Duties (Paid Training Provided)
- Administer Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) treatments after completing our paid training program.
- Prepare treatment rooms and equipment for patient sessions.
- Monitor patients during treatment and ensure their comfort and safety.
- Document treatment sessions accurately.
- Communicate patient concerns or changes to the clinical team.
- Follow all clinic protocols and safety procedures.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous medical receptionist, customer service, or healthcare experience preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Comfortable using computers and learning new software.
- Dependable, professional, and compassionate.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
