Production Assistant (PA) – Baking Skills Required & Art Skills Preferred
Location: Thousand Oaks
Start Date: This Sunday
Duration: 1–2 weeks
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Production Assistant for a short-term project. This role requires someone with hands-on baking experience, as you will be responsible for baking a cake to be used as an on-camera prop. The cake must be fully real and camera-ready.
An artistic background is a plus, as the role may involve light styling and ensuring the cake (and other elements) are visually appealing on set.
Responsibilities:
- Bake and prepare a real cake for production use
- Assist with basic on-set production tasks as needed
- Help with prop styling and visual presentation
- Maintain organization of materials and workspace
- Support production team with general PA duties
Qualifications:
- Prior baking experience required (professional or strong personal experience)
- Ability to execute a clean, visually appealing cake
- Artistic eye or creative background is a plus
- Positive attitude, dependable, and adaptable on set
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment
