Job Summary
Seeking part time or full time front of house managers. Pay negotiable. Potential for both Salary and Tip income.
Responsibilities
- Supervise front-of-house staff including servers, hosts, bartenders, and support team members, ensuring high levels of customer service and professionalism.
- Oversee shift management, including scheduling, staffing levels, and task delegation to optimize service flow.
- Train new team members on food handling, POS systems (such as Aloha POS and Micros POS), customer service protocols, and food safety standards.
- Manage customer interactions to resolve issues promptly and maintain a positive dining experience.
- Monitor inventory control processes related to front-of-house supplies and assist with food preparation coordination when necessary.
- Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate expectations, provide feedback, and promote team development.
- Ensure compliance with health regulations, food safety procedures, and sanitation standards across all front-of-house operations.
Skills
- Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant management with strong knowledge of POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS.
- Extensive background in food preparation, cooking, and food handling within casual dining or fine dining environments.
- Demonstrated ability in supervising teams, training staff, and managing hospitality teams effectively.
- Strong understanding of inventory control, budgeting, profit & loss analysis, and food safety management.
- Excellent managerial communication skills with the ability to lead by example and motivate staff.
- Skilled in managing restaurant operations including shift management, cash handling, and customer service excellence.
- Experience with catering, banquet services, bar operations, and managing hospitality teams is highly desirable.
