- Associate degree in Engineering Technology or Computer-Aided Drafting.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in mechanical design within industrial or power
- generation environments.
- Experience with P&IDs, equipment layout, pipeline specs, material take-offs, piping isometrics.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and Plant 3D, as well as Microsoft products.
- Strong understanding of piping materials and specifications, pipe support and restraint systems, manual valve sizing and application.
- Ability to read and interpret vendor drawings and apply them in the design of
- construction-ready documents.
- Familiarity with EPC workflows and inter-discipline coordination.
Responsibilities:
- Interpret and apply project scope, specifications, and design criteria.
- Develop piping designs based on P&IDs, General Arrangements (GAs), equipment layouts, piping specifications, and inline instrumentation.
- Prepare Material Take-Offs (MTOs) and support procurement activities.
- Perform field design work to verify existing conditions and coordinate with client
- personnel.
- Assist in the development of construction packages, including Installation drawings,
- Piping Isometrics Support details, and Bill of materials.
- Support site activities during construction and startup phases.
- Identify and communicate scope changes and design updates.
- Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure design integration and alignment.
