Job Title: Avionics InstallerJob Description
As an Avionics Installer, you will support and assist technicians in performing avionics installations. You will fabricate wire harnesses, install and terminate wires, and assist in the functional testing of avionics/electrical systems.
Responsibilities-
Provide work direction to technicians and ensure completion of tasks within allotted time frames.

Coordinate with and assist other departments to ensure on-time delivery of aircraft.

Install, modify, and fabricate wiring and electrical components, fixtures, and associated equipment in accordance with blueprints, worksheets, and engineering drawings.

Train team members in associated work assignments and contribute to the development of employees and techniques.

Assist Engineering in resolving problems and make repairs per engineering direction.

Maintain required logs and records.

Ensure that work accomplished meets applicable regulatory requirements and customer specifications.

Enforce the company FOD program, tool control program, 5-S program, and all safety regulations.

Check all work, including work completed by other team members, to ensure defect-free assembly prior to final inspection.
Essential Skills-
Proficiency in avionics installation and avionics electrical systems.

Skill in wire installation and modification.

High School Diploma or GED required.

Avionics Installer II: 2+ years of avionics experience or 1 year avionics experience plus one year avionics schooling.

Avionics Installer Sr: 2+ years experience in an avionics/electrical career field or two years of accredited schooling in aviation electronics and two years related experience.
Additional Skills & Qualifications-
FCC certification preferred.

Other relevant certifications preferred.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.17 - $33.81/hr.
