Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a passion for sales and customer service, with experience in retail or grocery store environments. Fluency in English is required, and proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting shoppers with product inquiries and purchases
- Operate cash registers and handle transactions accurately
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, restocking merchandise as needed
- Utilize phone etiquette to answer customer inquiries and provide information
- Promote sales and special promotions to drive revenue
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals
Experience:
- Proven experience in retail sales or a similar customer-facing role
- Familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems and cash register operations
- Ability to communicate effectively in English; Spanish language skills are advantageous
- Strong ability to sell products and upsell to customers
- Knowledge of stocking procedures and inventory management
