Austin Ketamine Clinic is seeking a compassionate, motivated, and clinically skilled healthcare professional to join our team as a Ketamine Guide & Administrative Coordinator.
This is not a traditional healthcare position.
Our team members play a vital role in helping individuals struggling with depression, PTSD, anxiety, suicidal ideation, and other mental health challenges find hope, healing, and renewed purpose. We are looking for someone who is equally comfortable providing exceptional patient care and supporting the day-to-day administrative operations that help our clinic thrive.
This is a unique cross-trained position that combines direct patient care, IV therapy, patient advocacy, customer service, scheduling, and administrative coordination.

About the Role
This position serves as both a Ketamine Guide and Administrative Coordinator, with responsibilities shifting based on the needs of the clinic.
Successful candidates are flexible, adaptable, and willing to contribute wherever needed to ensure an exceptional patient experience.
The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator, possesses strong vascular access skills, is highly organized, and genuinely enjoys helping others.
Clinical Responsibilities
- Welcome patients and create a positive, supportive experience
- Establish therapeutic rapport and build trust with patients and caregivers
- Obtain vital signs and perform patient assessments
- Initiate and maintain vascular access when appropriate to licensure and training
- Monitor patients throughout treatment and recovery
- Provide compassionate emotional support and reassurance
- Document patient care accurately and professionally
- Collaborate with providers and clinical leadership
- Maintain a safe, comfortable, and therapeutic treatment environment
Administrative Responsibilities
- Answer incoming calls and respond to patient inquiries
- Schedule consultations, treatments, and follow-up appointments
- Assist with patient onboarding and intake processes
- Manage patient communications through phone, email, text, and EMR platforms
- Support patient retention and follow-up initiatives
- Maintain accurate records and administrative documentation
- Assist with inventory management and supply ordering
- Support marketing, outreach, and business development initiatives as needed
- Help ensure efficient daily clinic operations
Required Qualifications
- Current Texas healthcare licensure or certification applicable to role
- Strong ability to communicate professionally, compassionately, and effectively with patients
- Demonstrated ability to establish vascular access efficiently and confidently
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Dependable, self-motivated, and team-oriented
Preferred Qualifications
- Licensed Paramedic (LP)
- EMT
- Registered Nurse (RN)
- Experience in behavioral health, mental health, emergency medicine, infusion therapy, or related healthcare settings
- CPR Certification
- ACLS Certification
- Experience with electronic medical records
- Administrative, scheduling, customer service, or healthcare office experience

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
