Duties
- Lead and supervise restaurant staff during shifts to ensure smooth service flow and high-quality customer interactions
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and food handling processes to meet safety and quality standards
- Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing and cash handling
- Monitor inventory control, food production, and kitchen operations to minimize waste and optimize resources
- Train new team members on food safety, customer service, POS usage, and restaurant procedures
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and ensure an enjoyable dining experience for all guests
- Conduct shift reports, monitor profit and loss metrics, and assist with budgeting to support restaurant goals
Qualifications
- Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments with strong food preparation and cooking skills
- Previous supervising or team management experience within the food industry or hospitality sector
- Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS; cash handling expertise required
- Knowledge of food safety management, inventory control, and food handling regulations
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead teams effectively and manage conflict positively
- Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for cash handling and inventory purposes
- Experience in managing hospitality teams in casual dining or fine dining settings is highly desirable
