We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Floor Tech / Porter to join our team. In this important role, you will help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents, visitors, and staff by keeping floors and common areas in excellent condition.
Key Responsibilities:

Clean, strip, wax, buff, and polish floors throughout the facility

Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain carpets and hard surface flooring

Respond promptly to spills and other safety hazards to help prevent accidents

Maintain entrances, hallways, common areas, and other public spaces

Move furniture and equipment as needed for floor care and facility needs

Assist with general porter duties, including trash removal and maintaining the exterior grounds as assigned

Follow all infection control procedures and safety guidelines

Work as part of a supportive team to maintain a clean and safe environment
Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED preferred
-
Previous experience in floor care, environmental services, or custodial work is preferred
-
Experience operating floor machines (buffers, burnishers, auto scrubbers, etc.) is a plus
-
Must be dependable, detail oriented, and able to lift and move equipment as needed
