Security Officer Armed
As a Security Officer Armed Driver Patrol in Richmond, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Join Allied Universal as an armed patrol professional supporting a busy transit location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Job Schedule:
What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, with working environments and conditions that may vary by site.

Serve in an armed patrol post while following assigned post orders, reporting procedures, and applicable guidelines for authorized equipment.

Help to document and report security-related incidents, unusual activity, and/or maintenance concerns to the appropriate contacts.
Minimum Requirements:

Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.

Possess an armed guard card and/or license.

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and/or baton is preferred.

CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
