United Metals is looking for a reliable & hard-working person at its recycling yard in Heyburn. This is an excellent job for someone who wishes to learn and start an actual career. JOB DUTIES:
· Promote and perform all job tasks in a safe manner
· Run machinery and equipment to process and to move scrap metal
· Identify and sort metal by different commodity type
· Use a cutting torch to process metal to size
· Package all commodities as directed by management
· Cut metal to specified size utilizing necessary tools and equipment
· Maintain equipment and report any malfunctions for repair to your supervisor.
· Load and unload all trucks and containers with a forklift
· Keep designated work areas clean and organized.
· Use tools and equipment to clean and cut non-ferrous metals
· Communicate job tasks and work well in a team environment
· Diligently follow company safety policies and safety rules
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Work/School history that displays dependability and a good attendance record
· Experiences that demonstrates the ability to follow instructions, company policies, and procedures
· Be able to handle all the physical demands of our work environment
· Proven experience of working well together with others in a team environment
