Overview
BeSound is a fast-growing women's health startup building a more proactive approach to breast imaging. Headquartered in Los Angeles and expanding across the country, we're looking for a highly organized, proactive Executive Assistant to become a trusted partner to our Founder and CEO.
This role will support both business and personal priorities while helping keep a fast-moving company running smoothly. You'll work closely with a small, collaborative team, take ownership of a wide variety of projects, and have the opportunity to grow alongside the company.
The position begins as a contract role, with the expectation of expanding in both scope and hours and the opportunity to transition into a full-time position. While we're remote-friendly, candidates based in the Los Angeles area are preferred.

Engagement Terms
- Contract role, $40 to $50/hour depending on experience
- Contract to start, with the potential to convert to full-time based on fit and business needs
- 3 to 5 hours per day to start, Monday through Friday, with hours expected to increase as the role grows toward full-time
- Los Angeles preferred, remote-friendly
- Initial 1-month term with evaluation at end of term
- Flexibility for occasional evening, weekend, or travel support with advance notice
Core Responsibilities
- Calendar management and scheduling for the CEO, professional and personal
- Personal administrative support for the CEO as needed
- Email and correspondence drafting and support
- Event coordination, including scan parties, provider outreach, and team events
- Vendor and partner communication and follow-up
- Travel planning and logistics, professional and personal
- Research and task tracking
- Location and operations support as needed
- Ad hoc operational support as business needs arise
- Scope expected to grow as the working relationship develops
Qualifications and Skills
- Highly organized and proactive with strong follow-through
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Discreet and trustworthy with confidential and sensitive information
- Comfortable in a fast-paced startup environment with shifting priorities
- Tech-savvy, with experience using Google Workspace, Asana, or similar tools
- Prior executive assistant or administrative support experience preferred
- Flexibility for occasional evening, weekend, or travel needs with advance notice
