Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Manager to oversee daily operations within a fast-paced food service environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of food preparation, restaurant management, and customer service. This role requires a proactive approach to team management, inventory control, and ensuring compliance with food safety standards. The Manager will be instrumental in maintaining high-quality service, optimizing operational efficiency, and fostering a positive work environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise restaurant staff, including hiring, training, and evaluating team members to ensure excellent performance.
- Oversee food preparation processes, ensuring quality standards are met consistently.
- Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient order processing and cash handling.
- Coordinate inventory control to maintain optimal stock levels and reduce waste.
- Supervise daily restaurant operations including shift management, customer service, and food safety compliance.
- Conduct staff training sessions focused on food handling, safety protocols, and customer service excellence.
- Monitor kitchen and dining areas to uphold cleanliness, safety standards, and operational efficiency.
- Assist in budgeting, cost control, and financial management to meet business objectives.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure a positive dining experience.
- Support catering, banquet services, or special events as needed to maximize revenue opportunities.
Requirements
- Proven experience in restaurant management or food service management with a strong background in managing quick service & fast food restaurants or fine dining establishments.
- Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, kitchen management, and food safety regulations.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; cash handling experience required.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with prior supervising or team management experience in hospitality or food industry settings.
- Ability to manage inventory control, budgeting, and cost analysis effectively.
- Excellent communication skills with experience in interviewing, training & development, and staff supervision.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Hospitality management background including hotel or catering experience is a plus.
