Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wine, beer, and specialty drinks
- Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring excellent customer service at all times
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety standards and sanitation protocols
- Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing and cash handling
- Develop creative beverage recipes and suggest drink pairings to enhance guest experience
- Monitor inventory levels, restock supplies, and communicate needs to management promptly
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including billing and tipping procedures
Requirements
- Proven experience as a bartender with knowledge of cocktail creation, wine selection, craft beer, and beverage recipe development
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; strong cash handling skills
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests in a lively yet professional manner
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy hours
- Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and basic math for accurate measurements and billing
- Previous experience in fine dining establishments or hospitality environments preferred; banquet or catering experience is a plus
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
