Overview
We are seeking dedicated and hardworking individuals to join our team as Road work/traffic control laborer. Prefer flagging and highway experience. Based in Glenwood or Grand Junction and willing to commute to Glenwood or Telluride with the crew. In this role, you will be an integral part of our construction projects, assisting skilled tradespeople and contributing to the overall success of the job site. This position requires physical stamina, wiling to take direction and act quickly, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to safety.
Duties
- Assist in the preparation and cleanup of construction sites.
- Flagging, TCS and highway traffic control.
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment.
- Operate basic hand tools and power tools under supervision.
- Follow instructions from foremen and skilled tradespeople to complete tasks efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times.
- Perform manual labor tasks such as digging, lifting, and carrying materials.
- Support the construction team in various tasks as needed.
Requirements
- Previous experience in traffic control or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods in various weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices.
- Reliable transportation to job site or meeting location is required.
- Willingness to learn new skills and take direction from experienced team members.
- Must be able to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) perform repetitive tasks.
- A valid driver’s license is required.
