Sacred Heart School is seeking a caring, dependable, and enthusiastic full-time Classroom Aide to support teachers and students in our PreK–8 Catholic school. The successful candidate will enjoy working with children, collaborate well with colleagues, and help foster a positive, faith-filled learning environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist the classroom teacher with daily instructional activities
- Help maintain a positive, organized classroom environment
- Supervise students during lunch, recess, and other assigned times
- Prepare classroom materials and learning resources
- Assist with arrival, dismissal, and other school routines
- Promote respectful, Christ-centered interactions among students
- Perform other duties as assigned by the principal
Qualifications
- High school diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred
- Experience working with children is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and staff
- Commitment to supporting the mission and values of Catholic education
