Part-Time Prep Cook & Delivery Driver

Location: Greenville, SC (deliveries throughout the Upstate)
Reports To: Head Cook / Owner
Hours: 15–30 hours/week, Monday–Friday, typically 7:30 AM – 2:00 PM (hours increase during our busiest months — August, October, and December)

Red Radish Upstate is a locally loved provider of fresh, dependable hot lunch catering. We specialize in daily deliveries to corporate offices and medical practices across the Upstate and are known for our consistent quality, friendly service, and professional presentation.
The Role
We're looking for a dependable, motivated Prep Cook & Delivery Driver to join our team. Our biggest daily challenge is getting fresh lunches delivered on time across a large delivery territory, so this role is ideal for someone who genuinely enjoys being on the road as much as being in the kitchen. Some days deliveries stay close to Greenville; other days routes stretch to Columbia, Greenwood, or Seneca, and occasionally as far as Augusta, GA. You'll drive a company-provided vehicle, so there's no wear and tear on your own car.
What You'll Do
In the Kitchen:
- Prep ingredients and follow recipes with accuracy
- Assemble and pack menu items (salads, desserts, and more)
- Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe kitchen
- Check prep lists and communicate inventory needs
- Follow hygiene and food safety protocols
- Assist with kitchen organization, restocking, and general support
On the Road:
- Deliver and professionally set up catered lunches, sometimes over longer distances — our delivery territory covers up to a 90-mile radius
- Drive a company-provided vehicle
- Provide friendly and timely service to customers at delivery sites
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicles
- Communicate any delivery issues promptly to the team
What We're Looking For
- Reliable, punctual, and self-directed
- Genuinely enjoys driving, including longer trips as a regular part of the role
- Comfortable working independently or with a team
- Confident in basic kitchen tasks and time management — no professional kitchen experience required, we'll train you
- Great communicator with a friendly, service-minded attitude
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Able to qualify for coverage on our company auto policy
- Passion for great food and a clean, professional work style
Pay & Perks
