Company Overview
RealmFive, Inc. is dedicated to advancing modern agriculture through innovative Data and Automation solutions. We provide reliable, and scalable connectivity to empower decision-making at scale, helping agribusinesses thrive in a data-driven future.
If you like solving problems no one's handed you a manual for, this job is built for you. As a Field Support Technician at RealmFive, you're the person our customers count on when something in the field isn't working the way it should, and you're the face they associate with the company. One day you're walking an operations manager through a fix over the phone, the next you're on a ladder at a grain facility troubleshooting hardware in conditions a lab could never simulate. No two weeks look the same, and that's the point.
Customer Support
- Be the first voice or response our customers get when they call, email, or open a ticket, and own the experience from start to finish.
- Diagnose technical and operational issues remotely and onsite, often with limited information, and figure out what's actually going on.
- Document what you learn! Interactions, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions so the next person is better for it.
- Know when to escalate, and advocate for the customer when you do.
- Handle warranty evaluations, documentation, and repairs end-to-end.
Field Service & Installations
- Represent RealmFive on customer sites in a way that earns trust and repeat business. Customers remember how you made them feel as much as what you fixed.
- Execute, assist with, or lead installation jobs. Some travel and overnight stays come with the territory.
- Document completed installations with photos and clear written descriptions so the work speaks for itself afterward.
- Capture supporting evidence and findings from field visits. Your observations often become the inputs that drive product improvements.
- Support engineering deployments and testing when called on.
What We're Looking For
This role rewards people who can think on their feet and figure things out without being handed a script. Specifically:
- You're adaptable. Priorities shift, weather changes, customer sites surprise you. You roll with it.
- You're a problem solver. When the obvious answer doesn't work, you don't stall — you dig in.
- You're independent but collaborative. You can own a job without hand-holding, and you know when it’s time to pull in a teammate.
- You communicate clearly. Verbally, in writing, and with customers who may be frustrated.
- You're organized and forward-thinking. You see what's coming, not just what's in front of you.
- You stay calm under pressure. Stressful situations don't rattle you, they focus you.
- You bring fresh ideas. And you're motivated by working somewhere that those ideas matter and are listened to.
