About the Opportunity
Cothrine Financial's North Dallas General Office is seeking a Financial Advisor to join our Frisco, TX team. In this role, you will work directly with clients and internal partners to identify financial needs and guide them through investment, retirement, and account solutions.
This is a client-facing, relationship-driven role suited to someone who is comfortable spending extended time on the phone with clients, enjoys problem-solving, and takes ownership of the full client journey — from first conversation through a funded account.

- Determine where a client has a need and create or manage the associated opportunity through to a won or lost sale.
- Provide advice or educate clients on investment and product concerns related to Individual Retirement Accounts (IRAs), retirement/pension enrollments, after-tax annuities (ATA), retirement planning, and retirement income.
- Maintain a solid understanding of the organization's digital new-account-opening requirements and processes to guide clients through this process.
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of sales opportunities to ensure clients complete all steps to open and fund an account, including assistance with funding, rollovers, Not-in-Good-Order (NIGO) resolution, and other barriers to account establishment.
- Meet or exceed goals tied directly to client acquisition and retention, including referral generation, asset growth, product education, surveys, advice sessions and solutions, and overall productivity.
- Engage in extended client consultations, as many interactions may require two hours or more on the phone with a client.
