We have recently renovated the entire restaurant. You will be able to enjoy the luxuries of a new walk-in/freezer, new coolers/lowboys, new ovens/ranges and much more.
- STORE HOURS ARE FROM 11:00AM-8:30PM TUESDAY-SATURDAY
- WE ARE CLOSED EVERY SUNDAY AND MONDAY, ENSURING TWO GUARANTEED DAYS OFF TO ALL PIZZETTAS EMPLOYEES.
- The pay for this position may be negotiated to an extent depending on experience and how capable someone is. We are encouraging and willing to help, ensuring a smooth learning process for anybody that is new.
Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items following established recipes, portion sizes, and presentation standards.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, grills, slicers, and other culinary tools.
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as slicing, chopping, and assembling ingredients using proper knife skills and slicing techniques.
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen surfaces to meet food safety standards.
- Support meal assembly and plating to ensure timely delivery of orders during busy service hours.
- Follow food handling procedures to ensure safety and quality throughout the food production process.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate tasks and ensure smooth operations during service.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food industry roles such as restaurant cooking, catering, or dietary aide work is preferred.
- Knowledge of culinary techniques including knife skills, recipe adherence, and food safety management.
- Familiarity with operating kitchen equipment like ovens, fryers, slicers, and food prep tools.
- Strong understanding of safety standards in production environments and proper food handling practices.
- Experience with menu planning or meal preparation is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members and support a positive kitchen environment.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
