Peace Frogs Travel/Outfitters is the only curated, high-touch travel goods store and full-service travel agency in central Virginia. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Retail Manager to oversee our store operations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for retail, exceptional leadership skills, and a strong understanding of inventory control and customer service.
Up to 35 hours/week with responsibilities to include:
o Manage day-to-day retail operations, including sales, staff supervision, and customer service. Retail POS experience necessary.
o Implement effective strategies to drive sales and meet store targets.
o Oversee inventory control and ensure stock levels are maintained.
o Daily tasks include general store maintenance, displays, inventory management, intake, merchandising, data entry, and daily customer service tasks like warranty issues, collaborating with vendors on orders, special orders, etc.
o Provide high-touch customer service for clients shopping for travel gear.
o Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
o Oversight of incoming client experience on both the travel and retail side- effectively able to communicate to a client about the travel and retail services we offer in an organized and meaningful way.
We are conveniently located behind the Barracks Road Shopping Center and have ample parking. The store is open Monday-Saturday, and there is some flexibility in your schedule.
