Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble meals according to established recipes, menus, and dietary guidelines
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including flat-top grill, knives, slicers, ovens, and other culinary tools
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen areas in compliance with food safety standards
- Handle food with care, ensuring proper storage, labeling, and food handling procedures are followed
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and ensure timely service
Skills
- Proven experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide, with knowledge of food preparation and menu planning
- Strong culinary skills including knife techniques, slicing methods, and cooking proficiency
- Familiarity with food safety management practices and adherence to safety standards in production environments
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently while maintaining cleanliness standards
- Experience in food service or restaurant environments with excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of food industry regulations related to food handling, safety, and sanitation
- Ability to follow recipes accurately and support meal preparation processes effectively

Pay: $13.00 - $17.00 per hour
