The Lead Warehouse Technician plays a key leadership role in supporting daily warehouse and manufacturing operations. This position is responsible for coordinating warehouse activities, maintaining accurate inventory, ensuring production lines receive the materials they need, and making sure customer orders are accurately picked, scanned, prepared, and shipped on time.
The Lead Warehouse Technician will serve as a resource and point of contact for warehouse team members, helping coordinate workflow, resolve inventory or scanning issues, and ensure company procedures for safety, quality, and productivity are followed.
The ideal candidate is a reliable, detail-oriented team leader with strong warehouse experience, excellent organizational skills, and hands-on experience using RF scanners, barcode scanning systems, and warehouse management systems such as SAP. Mandarin language proficiency is strongly preferred and may be required to effectively communicate with warehouse and production team members.
- Provide day-to-day direction and support to Warehouse Technicians.
- Help assign and prioritize warehouse tasks.
- Train and assist employees with warehouse procedures, scanning, inventory control, and safety practices.
- Monitor workflow and help ensure team productivity and accuracy.
- Communicate warehouse needs, issues, and priorities to management.
- Assist with resolving issues, and operational problems.

- Lead and coordinate daily warehouse activities.
- Perform and oversee barcode/RF scanning for receiving, put-away, picking, transfers, and shipping.
- Ensure all inventory movements are accurately scanned and recorded in the warehouse management system.
- Verify scanned quantities, item numbers, locations, and shipment information to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Receive, process, label, scan, and properly store incoming stock.
- Record and verify shipment arrival and departure times.
- Inspect incoming stock for damage and accurately document discrepancies or damages.
- Deliver materials and components to production lines as needed.
- Pick up and scan finished goods from production lines and move them to designated warehouse locations.
- Pick, verify, scan, stage, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks while ensuring products and paperwork are accurate.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and investigate inventory discrepancies.
- Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory audits.
- Organize warehouse locations to maximize efficiency, safety, and accessibility.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Assist with training employees on proper scanner use, inventory procedures, and warehouse processes.
- Identify and communicate scanning, inventory, equipment, or workflow issues to management.
- Ensure warehouse activities follow company safety, quality, and operating procedures.
- Communicate effectively with production, shipping, receiving, and management teams.
- Use Mandarin and English to communicate instructions, priorities, and operational information with employees and management as needed.
- Help other departments as needed.
- Previous warehouse experience, preferably in a lead position.
- Strong experience using RF scanners, barcode scanners, or handheld warehouse devices.
- Understanding of inventory control and warehouse management procedures.
- Ability to accurately scan and track inventory throughout the warehouse process.
- Experience using a Warehouse Management System (WMS), preferably SAP.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate inventory records.
- Ability to lead, train, and provide direction to warehouse employees.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

- Mandarin and English language proficiency strongly preferred.

- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous warehouse lead warehouse experience.
- Previous forklift certification.
- Experience working in a manufacturing or distribution warehouse.
- Experience with SAP or another Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Hands-on experience with RF/barcode scanning systems.
- Experience performing inventory counts and resolving inventory discrepancies.
- Bilingual English/Mandarin communication skills strongly preferred.
- Very Heavy Work: Lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds constantly for short distances independently and up to 100 pounds via team lift frequently.
- Standing: Ability to remain on one's feet in an upright position for extended periods.
- Walking: Ability to move throughout the warehouse and production areas to accomplish assigned tasks.
- Stooping: Ability to bend the body forward and down while bending at the waist 45 degrees or more to access items below waist level.
