We are looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented Legal Assistant who can help keep the practice running smoothly and provide excellent support to both the attorney and clients.
What You’ll Do
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting with drafting and preparing transactional legal documents and contracts, including:
- Asset Purchase Agreements
- Operating Agreements
- Employment Agreements
- Commercial leases
- NDAs and general business contracts
- Populating attorney-approved templates and preparing first drafts for attorney review
- Managing client communications via phone and email in a professional and friendly manner
- Following up with clients and potential clients
- Organizing client files, contracts, and transaction documents
- Managing calendars, deadlines, and task lists
- Assisting with closings and assembling signature packets
- Keeping matters and communications organized so nothing falls through the cracks
- Helping improve office systems and workflows as the firm grows
- Providing general administrative support to help keep the practice efficient and organized

Experience in transactional/business law is strongly preferred, but we are willing to train the right person who is sharp, motivated, and organized.
