We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily operations and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Manage staff training and development to enhance team performance and customer service.
- Supervise kitchen management, including food preparation, cooking, and inventory control.
- Handle cash management and POS systems, including Aloha POS and Micros POS.
- Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout the restaurant.
- Support budgeting efforts by monitoring expenses and optimizing resource allocation.
- Foster a positive work environment through effective team management and leadership.
- Conduct interviews for new staff members and assist in the hiring process.
- Ensure exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Collaborate with the management team to implement marketing strategies that drive business growth.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in restaurant management or as an Assistant Manager in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of food service management practices, including food handling and production techniques.
- Experience with inventory control and cash handling procedures.
- Familiarity with various POS systems, particularly Aloha POS and Micros POS.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate, and supervise staff effectively.
- Background in culinary arts or hospitality management is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Knowledge of budgeting processes and financial management within a restaurant setting is advantageous.
